The Healing Intelligence of Nature: Plant Medicine for Modern Life

Michael McCammon · Sunday 1 March · 10:45am – 11:45am · Upstairs

What if the remedies we need have been here all along, waiting in the roots, leaves, and bark of the plants that grow around us?

Michael McCammon has been a practising herbalist and naturopath for over 40 years. After completing his formal studies at the South Pacific College of Naturopathy, he spent more than a decade in post-graduate apprenticeship with some of the most respected names in natural medicine, including Dr. Bernard Jensen, Dr. Earl Conroy, Dr. John Whitman, and Ray & Toni Miller N.D. This depth of training, combined with four decades of clinical practice, has given Michael a rare and refined understanding of how plant-based medicine works, and why it works.

In this talk, Michael explores the healing intelligence of nature: how plants have always held the remedies we need, how working with herbs supports genuine lasting wellbeing, and how to navigate the world of natural medicine with discernment and confidence. Drawing on medical herbalism, naturopathy, human nutrition, and diagnostic tools like live blood analysis and iridology, Michael brings a level of knowledge and practical experience that is increasingly rare in the modern wellness world.

This is an invitation to understand what nature can do, when we know how to work with it.
